Audrey Hepburn films screening in Lumiere Hall
A cinema Lumiere Hall shows three films with beautiful Audrey Hepburn. These films are: Roman Holiday – a shrill and funny Cinderella story in reverse; Sabrina – a success story of ordinary girl, who is a daughter of the chauffeur; Breakfast at Tiffany’s – a perfect movie for lovers of timeless classics and adventurous romance. Films are shown on 20 screens and using even walls and columns of the hall, and the audience sits in the comfortable soft padded stools.

The Festival “The Women’s Day”

3D-show on the facade of the Elisseeff Emporium
The facade of one of the most beautiful buildings on Nevsky prospect becomes a stage for a fascinating 3D-installations made by the studio Illuminarium 3000. Details of the plot of the upcoming show are closed. We only know that the creators of the 3D-show are inspired by the magic of interior decorations of the building, and they try to make out its magic.

The concert of Leningrad music band
Leningrad music band celebrates 20 years on the stage this year. At the beginning of the career the members of this band are considered to be eternally drunk, and their songs – funny with obscene language. Now Sergei Shnurov is one of the most recognizable media persons of Russian show business, who entertains children and pensioners, makes a real show at corporate parties, acts in films, but still ironically depicts in his songs the reality.

The performance “The Master and Margarita” directed by Roman Viktyuk Theatre (Moscow)
Roman Viktyuk used to rethink a famous novel through his performances several times. Now the director cuts a romantic line and emphasizes on the political question of the existence in the Soviet era in this performance. There is a problem of love and slavery that is represented in the absolute state power which is against individuals and particular emotions. Roman Viktyuk takes into consideration a lot of details of creating this literary masterpiece.

The concert Rossini Gala
The great Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini created 39 operas as well as many works in the genres of spiritual and chamber music. He is a creator of the world famous “Barber of Seville” and “Cinderella”. Before the appearing of Giuseppe Verdi on the musical stage Rossini was a central figure in the operatic life of Italy. The soloists of the Academy of Young Singers of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra perform fragments from the works of the great opera composer.

The Interactive concert “Tango”
The concert “Tango” includes the brightest stage tango dances produced in such shows as “Illusio”, “Favorites of the Moon” and “Lovely M”, as well as performances made by the winners of the world championships in the category Tango Escenario Dmitry Vasin and Sagdiana Hamzina. Also the actors of the troupe Leningrad Center as well as the stars of the world Tango championships participate in this show. Moreover viewers can dance a slow and graceful milonga together with professional dancers on a special stage. The ticket price includes the dinner cooked by the Block meat restaurant.

The Performance “Masterpieces of Russian Ballet” at the stage of the Hermitage Theatre
The program of “Masterpieces of Russian Ballet” created at the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre of Jacobson consists of performances which were created by Jacobson at various times. Viewers will see the choreographic miniatures, genre sketches “Viennese Waltz”, “Gossip girls”, “Country Don Juan” and one-act ballet “Wedding procession”. The ballet performances of Jacobson are harmonic and romantic, make you forget about the momentary and ascend upward.

The performance “The Backbone Flute” at Lensoviet Theater
It’s based on the poem “Poems to her” of Vladimir Mayakovsky and directed by Maxim Didenko. This performance is a sincere dramatic confession of the rebel poet, dedicated to his beloved Lily Brik. This work of Mayakovsky was partly censored many times. It’s a story about love, friends, enemies, politics and the country.

The Concert of Proletarskoe tango band
Proletarskoe tango band always creates a warm nostalgic atmosphere at its concerts. Even if some listeners didn’t hear the original songs and were born decades after their creation, they cannot resist the charm of naive Soviet foxtrot songs. Members of Proletarskoe tango band perform well-known Soviet songs and bring a piece of magic of pop classics of past years.

The opera “Mermaid” at the Mikhailovsky Theater
The famous opera of composer Antonin Dvorak was written in 1900 to a libretto by J. Kvapil based on Czech fairytales. This is a great work of the composer who was one of the founders of the Czech national style of music and used folk melodies. The Opera is performed in Czech language. It lasts 3 hours 10 minutes.

The exhibition of Marcello Lo Giudice in Marble Palace
Lo Giudice works with the abstract line and uses special figurative means to represent the geographical forms and processes. Man-made and procedural factors are the core aspects of his art. He manually creates a texture surface, where the form materializes in color and the texture irregularities cast relief and shadows. His abstract works are metaphoric and become a symbolic analog of the Creation. There are no landscape features in his works and the images rather have a geological and demiurgic sense.

The Exhibition “Perfection in detail. Art of Japan of the Meiji era (1868–1912)”
The second half of the XIX century is a special time in Japanese history, the era of modernization that was reflected in art. You can see the metal products with the finest décor elements of Kano Natsuo, Komai Otodjiro and Suzuki Tekiti. There are a lot of enamel art things where flowers, birds and landscapes are imprinted with great realism. These art works are extremely valuable: many of Japanese technologies are lost now.The exhibition discovers more than 700 ancient exhibits.

The exhibition “Total Recall”
The exhibition includes authentic artifacts, which tell about the era of the 1990s and allow to feel the spirit of those decades. Everyday life objects of the 1990s are showcased: from labels to video game consoles. Commercials, movies and video clips also help to immerse into the atmosphere of the 1990s. This exhibition is held in support of the raising funds for the production of the film “Song about the real Indians”, dedicated to the generation of the 1990s.

Weekends in the indoor rope park “High-rise Town”
It’s a big entertainment for young audience. There are 7 cable routes with different exciting obstacles at different heights in this rope park.
