Kinozvuk (Cinema sound), festival of soundtracks
The Chamber Orchestra TenBitZ Collective performs at the concert. The musicians perform the author’s versions of the famous melodies from the movies, cartoons and even video and computer games. You will listen to the familiar motifs from The Simpsons and The Lion King cartoons, as well as from Super Mario and Mortal Combat games.

Step Towards! Festival
Participants of this festival are people with disabilities. They prove that, if you want to do something you can do it. The compositions of Mendelssohn, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov are performed at the festival. A special guest is Michel Tyrabosko, who has lost wrists of his hands, but he perfectly performs music on the pan flute.

Rainbow International Theater Festival
It’s a theater festival for young actors. Theaters from different countries participate: Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Turkish, French, German, Swiss and, of course, Russian troupes. They perform in an innovative style using unusual dramaturgy and stage direction.

Urban Culture Festival 2017
It’s a street art festival, where you can find a lot of street art, street dancing, extreme sports and music. Visitors will be able to participate in various workshops on tattooing, graffiti, street dance, learn to make interesting haircuts and much more. Among the musical participants of the festival are Noize MC, Little Big, and Anacondaz.

Petersburg live Festival
Victor Tsoi would be 55 years old in 2017 and this festival is timed to this date. Famous Russian rock musicians perform at the Palace Square. All of them are united by the music of Kino music band. Among the participants of the festival is Picnic, Pilot, Kukryniksy, The Hatters, 25/17, Severny Flot (Northern Fleet), and Brigadny podryad (Brigade contract). A special guest is the guitarist of the Kino music band Yuri Kasparian.

Elagin Park VII International Festival of Street Theaters
The festival includes the performances of theaters from different countries: Russia, England, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Poland, Belarus and even South Korea. Denis Matsuev is one of Russian talented pianists. He performs classics as well as jazz compositions. Double-bass player Andrei Ivanov and drummer Alexander Zinger together with young participants of the Blue Bird contest play at the concert too.

Concert of Frank Wildhorn
Frank Wildhorn is a Broadway composer. Actors from Germany, Austria and Russia perform the compositions made by foreign guest. The concert is held under the accompaniment of the Musical Comedy Theater orchestra, conductor is Cohen Schuts from Austria. This concert is timed to the City Day and the upcoming premiere of The Count of Monte Cristo.

It’s a new work of Andrei Moguchy. The basis of this performance is the narrative work of Leonid Andreev. This is the first first premiere of 2017, marked by a very controversial jubilee, the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution. Andreev’s text became a response to the murder of the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Aleksandrovich, committed by the Socialist-Revolutionist Kalyaev. The writer-symbolist focuses not on the crime, but on the confrontation of the individual and formal debt.

Bi-2 music band concert
Bi-2 is a famous Russian rock band. It performs in St. Petersburg under accompaniment of live orchestra. The conductor is Felix Aranovsky, the music group has been cooperating with him for ten years. It will be a spectacular concert. Bi-2 performs classics of Russian rock.

The Maidens, performance
It’s a performance by the director Roman Viktyuk based on the work of Jean Genet. The plot tells the story about maidens who send their boss to prison for killing his wife, and then begin to play possible scenes of this murder in the house. It’s a play with elements of crime and at the same time very tragic. Plasticity, make-up, unusual costumes and the actors’ play make this performance one of the most popular of Viktyuk’s works.

Exhibition of Leonid Krivitsky
This exhibition shows the monumental works of Leonid Krivitsky. Portraits, landscapes, graphics, sculptures, and paintings on the theme of the Siege of Leningrad and the Soviet period of history. Also you can see the author’s triptych dedicated to the Holocaust – it’s his last work. The exhibition includes 50 works of Krivitsky.

It’s an exhibition of the artist Alexandra Ovchinnikova. The author depicts in paintings retro cars of 1950-1960-ies. She sees vehicles as living beings and makes parallels between cars and people. Birthday of a fairytale, performance
It’s an interactive performance where the visitors can help the main characters to find the Fairytale. The plot begins with the fact that everyone celebrates the birthday of the Fairytale, but it disappears somewhere. The searching leads the characters and their young friends to various magical worlds, which are familiar to everyone thanks to all children’s tales. The performance lasts 60 minutes.
