“Truffle” Restaurant and Confectionery

“Truffle” – a confectionary and a family restaurant located in one of the fashionable districts of St. Petersburg on Petrogradsky side, in just a 3 minutes’ walk from Petrogradsky subway station.
Dropping in to this place the first impression you get is you are in France, in one of the small family-run restaurants of Provence. After the mode of France, on the ground floor of Truffle there is a cozy pastry shop where you can buy fresh pastries to go, or take a load off your feet at a cup of coffee and watch the crowd passing by outside the window. A wooden staircase leads to the second floor out of the pastry shop where a comfy family restaurant took its place.
The interior of the confectionery and restaurant “Truffle” is made of natural materials in soothing natural colors. It is decorated with a lot of pictures, fresh flowers all over the place and a huge basket of fresh apples is placed at the restaurant’s entrance. Warm lighting, large windows, comfortable sofas and chairs, homelike book shelves, vases and photo frames create an amazing feeling of being at home.
The restaurant offers European cuisine with prevalence of French and Italian. The most popular meal in Truffle is the Roman salad with grilled salmon and shrimps. It is noteworthy that only natural ingredients are used in cooking without any admixtures and powders.
