St. Petersburg Drawbridge Openings Schedule
Navigation season in Saint Petersburg starts in April and ends in November. During this period drawbridges (moveable bridges that let ships pass through) of St. Petersburg are opened for a few hours during the night. A walk along the embankments at this time or a ride on a cruise boat in the Neva river will leave an unforgettable impression about St. Petersburg at night.
If you move around by car, keep in mind that at night its not easy to get from one side of the river to another due to drawbridges. To avoid being stuck in one part of the city, follow the schedule below.

The opening and closing times of drawbridges that lifted daily:
Palace Bridge – from 1:25 to 2:50 and from 3:10 to 4:55
Blagoveshchensky bridge – from 1:25 to 2:45 and from 3:10 to 5:00
Troitsky Bridge – from 1:35 to 4:50
Liteiny Bridge – from 1:40 to 4:45
Birzhevoy Bridge – from 2:00 to 4:55
Volodarsky Bridge – from 2:00 to 3:45 and from 4:15 to 5:45
Tuchkov Bridge – from 2:00 to 2:55 and from 3:35 to 4:55
Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge – from 2:00 to 5:00
Alexander Nevsky Bridge – from 2:20 to 5:10
Finlyandsky Bridge – from 2:20 to 5:30
Bridge openings by appointment for bridges that lifted with 2-day prearrangement:
Sampsonievsky, Grenadersky and Kantemirovsky bridges – from 1:30 to 4:30.

If the drawing bridges are raised and you need to get from one side of the Neva river to another use Bolshoi Obukhovsky (also referred as Vantovy) fixed bridge. The bridge is located on the outskirts of the city; a taxi ride will take approximately an hour at the cost of about 1000RUB.
