Best Italian films from the 72th Venice Film Festival (2015) will be shown in “Rodina” cinema center.

Festival “The Time of Knights”
This knights’ festival will be held in the territory of “The Russian village Shuvalovka” on St. Petersburg highway, 111. The program includes jousts, performances by archers, storm of the fortress and fire show! There will be the medieval entertainment program with dancing, magician and medieval music in the restaurant and café.

“Double bass World” International Festival
Big event for all double bass music lovers will be held on the stage of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia. Among the participants are the best Russian and foreign performers.

I International Chorus Festival Maslenitsa in Song
Choir Festival at the Mariinsky Theatre will be opened by Carl Orff’s cantata “Carmina Burana” performed by the choir and orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre on 6 March.

VI International Francophone Festival
Francophone Festival is a joint project of the Consulates General of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, the Canadian Embassy, the French Institute and other organizations. The festival program includes cinema sessions, theater performances, meetings with French-speaking writers and competitions for students. On March 5 and 6 “Stranger” will be performed on the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre with the participation of students of Limoges Theatre Academy.

International Violin Festival
During this festival Antal Zalai and Marianna Vasilyeva perform “Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi and “Four Seasons in Buenos Aires” by Astor Piazzolla, accompanied by a symphony orchestra. The concert will take place on March 2 in the Grand Hall of the Philharmonia.

The famous band will give a single concert in St. Petersburg as part of its world tour. The new show “IMMERSION” with participation of choir and orchestra, and the famous guitarist Jay Stepli will be held in “Jubileyny” concert hall.
