Cafe “Italia”

Cafe Italia in St. Petersburg

This truly Italian restaurant is hidden from the idly walking tourist. Even though it is in the downtown, cafe occupies the building on the minor street crossing Nevsky prospect.

Nevertheless, cafe “Italia” never has a lack of clients – people know and love this place, from the locals even to the natives of sunny Italy, who pass the recommendations from mouth to mouth.

Each of three halls on two floors of the restaurant has its own atmosphere. The hall in the basement, with subdued light and the aura of ancient Italian castles, is indeed the most romantic. On the ground floor, in the spacious hall with couches, motorcycles and other Ducati stuffing, you can often see some frequenters and cheerful companies. The hall closest to the entrance is the most crowded and reminds of a classic Italian trattoria.

Menu has a wide selection of pizzas, pastas and traditional Italian snacks. Everything is cooked due to the authentic recipes.

Another advantage of this restaurant is a moderate price policy:

Salads and snacks – 180-200 RUR

Pasta, Panini – 180-250 RUR

Desert and Italian ice-cream – 150-200 RUR

Pizza – 350 RUR

1 glass of domestic wine – 150 RUR

Coffee – 100 RUR
